Transforming Lives: The Lead Out Foundation's Remarkable Success Stories

Fueled by the support of The Lead Out Foundation, we are proud to share the inspiring success stories that illuminate the tangible and positive change being brought about in the lives of individuals with disabilities and mobility impairments. These success stories are a testament to the Foundation's commitment to making a meaningful difference in the world. Each narrative serves as a beacon of hope, revealing the profound impact that grants and support can have on the lives of those facing unique challenges.

Leila playing a game on her iPad.

Meet Leila

Leila is a sweet girl who lives with her mother on Cape Cod. She was born very prematurely, and therefore has several disabilities and relies on a ventilator for breathing, and a feeding tube. She also has Cerebral palsy and is blind. Her mother was looking for ways for her to engage in activities and communicate. The Lead Out Foundation was able to assist in obtaining an iPad and communication apps, along with respite money for her and her mother to use. Leila's mother sent us a heartfelt thank you letter saying that Leile LOVES her communication device and games. They are really great for her social and emotional growth! So great!

Meet Jordyn

Jordyn is 16, living with Spina Bifida, and is mostly on her own! She was on a mission to drive independently and received an accessible van fully equipped with hand controls from The Lead Out Foundation! We were thrilled we could grant Jordyn her wish. She's the best!

Savannah riding her bike with a friend.

Meet SavANNAH

Our organization was able to provide Savannah with an adaptive tricycle, addressing her unique mobility challenges that prevented her from enjoying the simple pleasure of riding a traditional bicycle. These adaptive tricycles can often be prohibitively expensive, making them a difficult aspiration for many families. However, we believe in making dreams come true. This tricycle not only offers Savannah the chance to have fun with her sister but also contributes significantly to her physical and mental well-being. At The Lead Out Foundation, we are dedicated to fostering positive change in the lives of individuals like Savannah, and her story exemplifies our commitment to creating brighter and more inclusive futures for all.

A note from her Savannah’s Mom

“We are so thankful for the Lead Out Foundation. They were able to get Savannah an adaptive tricycle. Due to mobility issues Savannah cannot ride a traditional bike. This is something we have been trying to get, but unfortunately, they are expensive. This will be something fun she "can do with her sister. Also, it will help Savannah physically and mentally.”
